I've been thinking about the order of things for drilling the tip to the wing. I've gotta consider: Drilling matching holes Having the reinforcement strip drilled also and mounted to tip, or not Making holes full size Counter sinking tip holes for flush rivets to hold the nutplates Having the strips fall off if I don't glue them well enough (which they did).
So I glued the strips in place with tbd. Later when I match drilled they fell off. I finished drilling and reglued them with my marine resin and hardner with a little flux added and they stayed in place fine while riveting on the platenuts.
