First, I drilled out the mistake placement of the reinforcement plates on the spar. 14 in total. Taking my time, they all drilled /popped out without issue. Deburred, sanded and primed to reinstall.
Done.
Finished rivets 616 trim servo motor and final assemble.
Bending the left elevator tabs. After reading much, I decided to jump into it. Built a jig and worked it very slowly. Seem to work. I do notice a pointed end at the tip and tried to persuade it - but ended up with a small dent on the underneath. Oh well. Will make a final decision with done with the trim tab.
Move onto the Left Elevator, continued to build the skeleton and placed / cleco’ed into the skin. Didn’t forget to RVT the stiffeners and move to rivet. Got about 50% done and decided to call it a day.
