First, rivet nut plates ontoE615PP – stuck in into the vice and things went smoothly. Per plan, back riveted stiffeners on both the right and left elevators. The closest rivets to the trailing edge were difficult (like the dimple) and not as ‘smooth’ as I would have liked. This took a few hours due to the numbers.
Decided to move on to the spar and counterweight. Got the right one built (cleco’ed) after much review of the plans.
Waiting to build my trailing edge bender – have the materials – perhaps next time.
