Today I was working on finishing the HS while waiting on the replacement bolts. The plans were vague (In my opinion) on the 714/710 rivets. Or it was clear and I was just too new to understand. Anyway, went round and round on the remainder of the rivets in the front spar.
All the front spar rivets in this area were buck’ed and had some issues because I installed the HS0005 and HS0006 (per plans I thought) finished the entire area and took a break. Thought about it and decided to drill out the rivets and redo.
Rivets drilled out and since the HS0005/6 were off the front spar, when ahead and check the debur and re-primed. They were a little scratchy from the rivet removal. I will re – assemble tomorrow and rivet. Perhaps start on the VS.
