Brief Description:  Finishing the antenna connections

As long as I had a good rhythm going in creating antenna cables, I went ahead and finished all of them. I know the communications radio can get damaged if turned on without the antenna connected, and could be true for other components, so since I’m about to wire them for operation, it was time to connect the antennas. After the transponder and ADS-B, there was just the communication and emergency locator antennas, that I had previously ran RG400 cable from the avionics tray up to the wing area, where the antennas will sit. It was just a matter or cutting the cable to size, and crimping the female BNC connections on the ends, which I’m getting really good at.

It may be overkill, but I also wrap any wires and cables with additional sheathing to protect them for long life.

I created a temporary mount to hold the antennas up on the root tube, until I get the wings on the plane and are able to mount them in their permanent position. Once up there, I'll place them the recommended three feet apart from each other.
