Brief Description:  Wiring up my real switches

Wiring the RockRack panel switches. Up until now, i've been using simple on-off switches to test all the circuits, but now it was time to wire up the real panel switches.

Some of the switch wiring is very complicated, and many had their own challenges. The most difficult were the three main switches, the master battery select, engine computer select, and the fuel pump select. The master is off in the middle position, battery #1 up, and battery #2 down. The others are main computer and fuel pump up, and backup down. The wiring was especially difficult because of the redundancy built into everything.

I'm so glad that I opted to get the switch connector modules, instead of just wiring directly to the switches. The connectors allow me to do all the complicated wiring once to the connector, and then plug and unplug all the wires as one unit. Having each wire connected directly to the switch would have made it almost unserviceable in the future, and prone to mistakes and faults.

Really love these switches in my panel. It's a crying shame they don't make them anymore.
