Brief Description:  Trim position sensor installed

I'll categorize this under avionics, because that's what it really relates to. Adding a trim position sensor is the only way your avionics (EFIS) will be able to tell you what position your trim is in. This would be next to impossible to add to the trim once the turtle deck is installed, so I wanted to add it now. The sensor itself is a Ray Allen POS-12. The important thing to understand is that the sensor has only a range of motion of just over an inch, so you must connect it to part of the trim system that will move it exactly an inch; any more and it will break. This takes moving the trim to full-up and full-down many times to mark the perfect place to attach. I crafted a connector out of a piece of coat hanger, and connected it to a hole I drilled at the point I deemed had one inch of movement. I attached it to the top of the trim actuator with strong double-sided tape and a zip-tie.
