I'm waiting for my engine to be ready, nearly four months late now, but it occured to me... I've got another task which involves putting the plane back on the cradle and raising the gear, and it would be too heavy for that once the engine in place, so that's what I did today. I have some relays which control the gear, but it requires four microswitches that tell it when each side have fully extended up and down, so it can stop powering the actuators. I installed the switches so they are pressed and activated when the gear has gone as far as it can go. Probably could have thought ahead and done this earlier in the build; had to remove the seatbacks to get to this area.
