I created a rolling cradle for the hull to rest on until it's ready to sit on its own wheels. It took 6 eight foot long 2"x4"s. Two are used as-is length-wise, and another one is cut in half for the ends that the wheels attach to. Another one is cut in four pieces, then carpeted to create bunks to hold the hull. The last two were cut into 16" lengths for the vertical supports, and twelve small pieces to stack and hold the bunks. I used really small wheels, because I don't have far to roll and they were cheaper, but if I used larger wheels, I would have made the vertical supports just 12" high. You don't want it so high that it's hard to get in and out of while working, but I wanted it high enough to be able to test the full motion of the retractable gear, once installed.
