Brief Description: Picked up kit (well, some of it), inventory begins

The factory is just an hour north of my home, so I drove my truck and trailer up to get the kit. Some of the kit wasn’t ready yet, the hull had a possible defect and has to be remade, the interior came in the wrong color, and many parts are on backorder, such as the gas tank. This is understandable, given the short time I gave to prepare the kit, but I wanted to pick up what I could, to begin the process of inventory, organization, and anti-corrosion treatments. The fiberglass parts (hull, turtle deck, nose/panel) should be ready in a month, but that shouldn’t slow my process, because I can begin building the passenger compartment, and have it ready to drop in the hull when it arrives. Actually, given the small space I have to work in (12’x25’), it’s a blessing not to get the hull yet, because it would just be in the way.
