Brief Description:  It is born

Received its FAA Airworthiness Certification today. The process is fairly easy, if you've documented your build well, and just follow the EAA guidelines and checklists. I've got the Sun 'n Fun airshow going on over my house, so I currently don't have a lot of safe airspace to test in, but I did take the plane for a couple of hops up to 50 feet or so, and it's flying well. Initially, it's feeling a little tail-heavy during step taxi, but I'd say I'm off to a good start with testing.

I am going to miss the build process, but I should have enough tweaking to keep me busy going forward. I hope this log will be helpful for someone else in achieving their lifelong dream!
