I'm working on the airworthiness certification process, but thought I'd take the time to make the interior cockpit even nicer. The aileron torque tube and bulkhead gusset coming up the back of the cockpit looked very raw and unsightly. I cut out a piece of lexan the shape of the gusset, drilled holes for any bolt heads to come through, then took the Dremel and roughened up the surface, so glue would stick. I used a 36" cardboard tube, cutting a slit down one side, to cover the torque tube. I then covered them with the vinyl upholstery I used throughout the cockpit, and re-installed. Finishes up the interior nicely!
