Brief Description:  Section 32, Final install of the nose deck

Locking down the nose. Just like when I riveted the turtle deck to the hull exactly a year ago, I was anxious about riveting the nose deck to the hull, because if there is something I forgot to do, it could be much harder to do with the nose locked down. But, after a couple of day of contemplating, I decided that it was time.

Even though I'll eventually cover the rivets with blue molding, I spray painted the rivets first, which turned out well. It was mainly a test to see if that would work when I have to rivet in the back windows.

The manual says to lock down the nose, then to install the interior side panels. Lucky, I checked first, and saw that there was no way that would work. I put the panels in place as I was fitting the nose, then when everything looked right, I clecoed, then riveted the nose to the hull.
