Brief Description:  Attempting to weather proof the front hatch

Attempting to weather proof the front hatch. In thinking about all the electronics I'd soon be putting under there, I realized that I've got to waterproof it better. I placed a locking latch in the middle, because I want to be able to get into it quickly with no tools required, but that left the top corners raised up a bit. I couldn't find the push button Camlocs for sale I wanted, but I found these screw-knobs in Lowe's, and so riveted fasteners for them to secure into on the corners. No, they're not flush, but it serves the purpose of securing it without the use of tools, and maybe those knobs sticking up will make a nice point-of-reference while flying.

I laid some paper on boards underneath, then washed the nose. There's still a small amount of leaking, so I'll continue to work on the molding I installed to stop any leakage.
