Brief Description: Section 5: Finished locking down the airframe to t
This step of securing the airframe to the hull was initially taking longer because of waiting for a part, but now was taking longer because of modifications. First, on the back, there was a 1/8" space on both sides from the boom bracket to the transom, so I created L-brackets which filled the space perfectly, and I believe strengthened it also.
I've heard of the fiberglass cracking around the bulkhead crosstubes, so I created brackets around those before locking it down, which also gives it a more finished look. I had previously created these from thin 1/40" aluminum sheeting, but created these new thicker 1/16" ones.
