The factory still has one of the retaining rings needed in this section on backorder, and that's going to hold me up if it doesn't come in soon, but I decided to go ahead and get one boot done.
I don't know why the manual wants you to fabricate a special wooden disk to support the boot while glueing it; I just cut the perfect sized piece when cutting the hull for the landing gear, so I used that.
I'm all out of clamps, so I'd have to do each side one at a time anyway, but I hope that other ring is ready this next week.
