I was intrigued by the waterproof sound proofing foam I saw at Aircraft Spruce, so I thought I’d give it a try. I got 12’ of the thinnest 1/8” (but seems even thinner than that) and that covered the hull and turtle deck nicely. It weighs just about nothing. Time will tell whether it helps with sound, but it went on very easy with the very sticky adhesive that’s on it, and I like the padded feel it gives under the carpet. The carpet had no trouble sticking to it with glue. I think it will contribute to it feeling like a solid, well-built machine.
