The manual hasn't been updated for the new fuel tank, so many things in this section aren't relevant to this tank. The sender still needs installed, a finger strainer gets installed in the fuel pickup on the front, and on the side, there's a place to install a barb for the fuel return, but it's not used with the 912 engine, it is on the 914, and I'm not sure about the Viking, or what size barb I'll need. The installed sump barb at the very bottom front has a 3/8", but really needs a 1/4", so I bought a 3/8-1/4 transition barb.
