Brief Description: Electric gear lack of instructions
Completed loose assembly of right hand gear and part assembly of left hand gear. Took a lot more time than it should have as I had to guess what part went where due to PA’s lack of drawings or instructions on how to assemble the electric gear. Called Rob Loneragan to discuss and he also confirmed his frustration with PA re lack of guidance. Discussed alternative ways of wiring electrical system with Paul Williams. He suggested using current relays that will switch off power to the gear when the relay senses a power overload ie when the gear contacts a solid point. I agree that this would be preferable to using micro switches. Will investigate further.
