John "Gus" Warren at the control during First Flight. He stated that all controls felt good and no problems during flight except that idle was too high. He also suggested that a stiffener be added to the aileron trim underside to reduce deflection of the skin and to add the CH recommendation regarding a limit of 15 degrees for down elevator.
The flight was limited to the length of the runway because the tachometer was not working and the optical tach stopped working during the test.
I've ordered both a new tach from Summit as well as a new optical tach from proptach.com (the one I was using was designed primarily for model airplane props).
