Brief Description: Finishing up wings for final rivets
Finished prepping the wings so I can rivet the bottom skin. I primed the fuel bay, the aft spar and root ribs again to ensure a good coverage. There were a few marks from riveting that I rubbed out and primed over.
I finished the aileron cable run preparation through the second wing.
Things to accomplish before riveting the skin.
1. Right wing (pictured) is ready to go 2. Left wing needs to Pitot Static lines installed
After riveting
1. The skins aft of the spar at the aileron and flap pockets need to be trimmed to length. 2. I need to fabricate a new flap torque tube for the right wing. The previous builder made it too short. 3. Install the fuel bay cover nut plates.
