I started placing the nose ribs in their respective locations. The process to ensure they are aligned took longer than expected. So on to the process.
The first step was to position the outboard, full length, rib. Using the full length rib form I determined the proper location of the rib to the two spars and drill/cleco it in place. To build a reference line I needed to place the inboard rib. Using a jig and the tooling holes in the center ribs I placed the inboard rib, drilled and clecoed it in place. At this point I need to start placing each subsequent rib. There are two methods, use a jib mentioned above or run a string through the upper tooling holes. Each rib is placed so the string passes through the tooling hole in the same manner. For now I'll stay with the jig process.
