Brief Description: Installing and adjusting the canopy - 02
Somewhere during the bonding process I introduced a 1/8" gap on the right side of the canopy frame (see image two.) The canopy sits down flush on the roll bar all across the back of the aircraft. The only thing that comes to mind is when I was putting the canopy on the frame I allowed the right edge to come up 1/8".
This also meant the canopy locks were out of adjustment. After several minutes of filing and adjusting I got the locks back in sync with everything else. I am not sure how I will address this gap, but I have a couple of ideas. More later.
