Got the canopy back on the aircraft and let if set in the sun. I think it spread out a little sitting on then bench the past few months. Now that warm weather is here and school is over next week, this is the next big project.
I clamped it in place and marked the top of the canopy frame sides. I will mask off everything above the line and scuff everything below the line, at least on the sides. The Sikaflex will hold the canopy to the frame and I will bond the side skirts to the outside of the canopy with Sikaflex. The front and aft portions get bonded to the frame. I will need to mark those off, scuff the areas to be bonded and mask everything else.
