Brief Description:  Nearing the wiring finish line

More wiring work completed. Routing (and sometimes rerouting) wires takes a lot more time than I imaged it would when I started this whole process. The photos don't do the work done justice. So what got done:

1. All separate systems are wired with supports in place. I need to put connectors on the radio ground wires and fasten them to the grounding block. The same for power at the fuse block.

2. I installed a D-sub gender changer in the sub-panel for the EFIS wriing. I need a photo of this, basically the Electronic Flight Information System has a 25 pin connector with wirings going all over the place. This multi-headed snake would have been difficult, probably impossible, to get out without cutting wires. So I installed a 25 pin D-sub on the end which connects to the gender changer on the sub-panel. On the other side of the sub-panel is another D-sub connector that feeds to the various locations. Now if the EFIS needs to come out I can disconnect it from the gender changer. Planning and documenting this work took most of the time.

3. Wriing work left to do:
Connect radio power and ground (wiring in place.)
Install lights in the wing tips.
Install wiring in pilot's stick; trim up/down and push to talk.
Push aircraft outside and turn the power on for testing.
