Brief Description:  Antennas

Worked on doublers for the various antennas that need to be mounted. The comm antennas are bent whip and will be located under the seats in the out board comparment. The ADSB is a blade style that will be located aft of the baggage compartment and the transponder is the "popcicle" style and will be mounted just aft of the fireall under the co-pilot's pedals.

I went through a few design and fabrications until I came up with something I wanted. The images show the doubler for the left antenna, there is another on the other side. The compartment is not square as the fuselage becomes narrow right where this doubler is mounted. If you look at image one at the bottom of the image you can see the joggle I had to create. The doubler is tied into the flange on that side and has it's own flange on the other side. The antenna connection sits just aft of the opening for the flight controls ensuring it won't tub on the controls. These will get riveted tomorrow.

I have fabricated the ADSB antenna doubler and hope it will get installed tomorrow as well.
