Brief Description:  Weekly update - 02

I also decided to install fuse panels inside the aircraft. They will be attached to a shelf that will swing down for accesibility in flight. They are also accessible when the canopy is open. I attached the hinge to the subpanel over the copilot's feet. The aft edge of the shelf rides on the bottom of the instrument panel.

In image one I am determining the placement of the panel. Image two shows the shelf in its lowered position looking forward and image three is looking down at the raised panel from the right side of the aircraft. In image three forward is to the right.

There will be three panels; a 20 fuse main buss, a 12 fuse avionics buss and a 6 fuse hot battery buss. I have decide not to wire in an endurance buss. The light loads of modern equipment coupled with battery back-ups for the EFIS equipment and a second alternator removes the need to an endurance buss. If the load is too high I can manually reduce the load.
