Brief Description:  More ELT

Worked on the ELT antenna installation. Fabricated a new doubler out of 0.040 as called for by the ELT manufacturer. Laid out the rivets IAW with 43-13 for a 1/2" hole, 43-13 describes a rivet pattern for up to a 1" hole, but uses 5/32" rivets. I doubled the rivet pattern so I could use 3/32" rivets. You might be able to see the pattern in image one or three. My wife came over to set the rivets, they were just out of reach holding a bucking bar on the inside.

Ran the coax cable, but I believe I will order a 6 foot to replace the 5 foot that came with the ELT. I want a little more cable for a service loop. Now I need to fabricate the GPS interface cable and then string it and the remote control cable to the front of the aircraft. After that is completed I can close up the aft section and rivet the final skin.
