With the engine mount back off the aircraft I ordered a few more firewall parts; the battery box, a manifold for pressure sensing and a wire passthrough. More on those when I install them. They are suppose to arrive today.
While waiting for those parts I fabricated a small shield for the elevator bellcrank. The bellcrank is just behind the baggage compartment. The new wire run for the ADAHRS cable passes by the bellcrank. With four Adel clamps holding it in place there is very little chance it could get tangled with the bellcrank. But just to be sure I fabricated a small shield that covers the area. It will be held in place by 8-32 screws and nutplates to facilitate maintenance.
