Spent more than a few hours working on the mounts for the vents. Vans has you make a small angle and rivet it to the skin. I want to add a location for the headset jacks. One of the more challenging aspects of this project is cutting off one corner of the vent. Due to the curvature of the panel you have to cut a radius in the vent mount. That radius would eliminate the lower inside corner of each vent mount. In image two that would be the lower left corner including the screw hole.
The radius seems to match the radius of the vent itself, but about 3/8" outside of it. These aluminum vents are expensive and I want to make sure I get the measurements right.
