Worked on the wing tips again today. Riveted the hinges on the left wing but not on the wing tip. Drilled the right tip hinge to the wing and to the wing tip, they still need to be deburred and dimpled. I will rivet the right side next time.
The rivets that hold the hinge to the wing tips must be set in epoxy. It is a process of dapping a small amout of epoxy on the rivet hole, inserting the rivet and setting it. It is a very small amout of epoxy so those can wait until I am ready to work on some other fiberglass parts.
