I started on the landing lights today. Work has kept me from the project, but I have the next few days to make some progress. The first step in the landing lights is to cut a hole in the leading edge. The light kit comes with two templates and the first one gives you the details you need to layout the leading edge hole. I measured several times to make sure I was cutting in the correct location. The actual cutting went pretty fast, I used my dremel and a cutting disc. I left too much material for a margin of error. It meant I spent more time sanding and filing the area to size. On the other wing I will cut a little closer.
