After working on the aileron brackets, I shifted to the braces. I had already primed the braces so it was a matter of clecoing them in place and drilling to fit. There is a small section of the flap brace that needed to be trimmed to allow the brace to fit properly next to a doubler. No problem, the band saw made it quick work.
While I had the flap braces out for trimming, I dimpled the wing skins and the flap braces for 426 rivets. Once dimpled and deburred, I clecoed both braces back in place as well as both aileron braces. They are now ready for riveting. Because I purchased quick build wings the flap braces are riveted to the aft spar with pulled rivets. This will make it the riveting tomorrow faster.
