Brief Description:  Finished the center section

Funny how when I am working at the hanger I can have a wide spectrum of success. Some days I can get to work and accomplish a lot. Other days, not so much. Today I went to finish the center section and start on the next bulkhead. But the day was beautiful and the Cherokee said "Fly me, Fly me!"
So I cranked up the Cherokee and went for a cruise along the coast. A beautiful cool fall day, no turbulence and little wind. So after an hour of just floating around with no where special to go I decided I really needed to get back to the center section. A nice landing (maybe a 6) and a smooth roll out and I realized it was display day. The third day of the month is display day at the Petaluma airport. Of course I had to check out everyone's airplane. So after putting the Cherokee back in the hanger I walked over to view everyone's ride. There were some sweet bi-planes on display and I had to have a hot dog while I walked around. Well now its 1:00 pm and I haven't done anything. Back to the hanger and work. I started on the center sections and was just about done (3:30 ish) when my wife pulled up.
She was going home from the store and wanted to see what I was doing. As we were talking I noticed an RV-9A across the taxiway so we walked over to check it out. That conversation took another 45 minutes. So back to hanger and I managed to finish the Center sections before heading home for dinner.
There all day and got two hours of work done. One of those days, but boy it was a nice day.
