Brief Description:  Started on the firewall

I started on the firewall (and the fuselage) while I wait for the electrical parts for the wings. I have to order the autopilot servos, the antennas (com and nav) and the lights; then install them before riveting the last skin on the wings. Of course there is much more than that to complete on the wings.
Anyway, I started by fabricating these two supports (F-601-J L/R.) They are made from .187 angle aluminum (2 x 2 1/2.) I cut them with my band saw. I did not realize how dual the blade was until I broke it. After replacing the blade they were cut in seconds. Duh...if you have to push harder the blade must be dull...or the user is... or both. It should not have taken as long as it did, but I included changing the blade.
