Brief Description:  Cabin seats

Several folks have had an issue with the fit of the seat backs after installing the cabin roll bar. Of course I also have a fit issue. The second photo shows the problem. The seat back hits or rubs the roll bar. If you look on the right 1/3 of the photo you can see the seat back rubs up against the roll bar. The left one was worse. It actually hit the roll bar. For the left seat I removed the hinge from the seat back and installed a new hinge about 1/4" to the left of the orginal hinge. The effectively moved the seat back to the right 1/" and gave me the space between the roll bar and the seat back you see in image one. I thought I might have enough room to make the right seat back work without drilling out the rivets and replacing the hinge. But that isn't fixing the problem. Tomorrow I will drill out the rivets and replace the hinge on the right seat; moving it about 1/4" right.
