Working on the protective cover panel brought new challenges. It requires two brackets for support that need installation. I had previously fabricated the brackets. The diagram in image one shows where the bracket is to be installe and image two shows the right bracket laying against the center section waiting to be installed. The challenge is drilling the four rivet holes through the bracket and inside structure, but not going through the outside skin. Image three shows the limited amount of space between the inside structure and the outside skin. I managed to drill the left side without going through the outside skin. Using my air drill and a drill bit limiter I slowly drilled and clecoed each hole to size #40. The plans call for size #30. Ran out of time so tomorrow I will finish drilling and riveting that bracket and take photos of the finished work.
