Brief Description:  Fuselage interior paint - 01

First thing to resovle today were a few rivets that I did not like. They did not sit correctly or the shop head did not look right. So I drilled out five rivets and reset them. There is still one more rivet that needs to come out, but I need some new drill bits. Mine are getting dull. So I move on to finish riveting the arm rests to the F-705 bulkhead.

Today I needed to finish the interior paint so I could start to assemble the flap components and move on to the other items. The rest of the day was spent cleaning, masking and preparing to paint. I am only painting the surfaces that will show around the interior. For example in the third image you see a panel on the right not painted and panels on the left also not painted. Those panels are covered by access panels and will not normally visable. Painting them would only add weight. This has been a task I have been anxious to get completed.
