Brief Description:  Flap motor housing and other

Today was catch-up day. There were several tasks to be completed, more than I can show with the three photo limit. Yesterday I had prime and painted several parts that had stacked up. So today I was able to finish a few items. I finished the seat backs by riveting the support bracket to hinge and attached the hinge to the seat (see photo 1.) The rest of the seat will be covered by material but this part will show as it is the part that allow the seat back to be adjusted more (or less) erect)

Next was working on the electric flap housing and electric flap motor. The flap housing was primed and painted yesterday, so today was assembly. Most of the work was installing nutplates, there were several. During some of the work I managed to scratch a few places, but that can easily be corrected (the paint was from a rattle can.)

The hardest task was drilling a hole for a safety wire. The safety wire secures the bolt that holds the flap motor arm to the flap mechanism. It was not easy or fast, but I just took my time and slowly got it done. The photo sucks, but really the hole is well placed.
