I finished the assembly of the first seat back. It is not riveted yet, but all the rivet lines are drilled to 3/32 and everything is clecoed in place. The bottom portion of the seat back is attached to the floor by a piano hinge (see image 2.) The top portion has a support that is attached to the seat back via a piano hinge (see image 3.) You can adjust the seat position by moving the bottom hinge of the seat back to one of three hinges on the seat floor. In image 2 I have the back setting in line with the middle attaching hinge. The top support with its hinge just allows for the bottom to move. A few more tasks before I rivet it together, all the rivets are 1/8 so I need to drill to size, deburr, primer a few locations (the seat back will be covered) and a couple of other tasks. I will fabricate the second seat, so I can rivet them both on the same day.
