Brief Description:  Fuselage work continues - 5

After finishing the gussets I went to work on the vertical channel that supprts the bell crank which is part of the push / pull tube flight controls controlling the elevator. There is an angle that needed to be riveted to the vertical channel for strength. You can see that angle in images one and two. It was a quick riveting job, especially with my rivet squeezer. The more I use that the more I love it. Get it adjusted and you can set rivets quickly and quietly.

After that I cleaned up the shop and primed those few parts, including the parts for the bell crank. When I come back I will rivet the primed parts and move on to adding the aft top skin.
