Brief Description:  Riveting continues - 6

We had a power day on riveting today. We finished the right side of the forward section, unfortuately three of the rivets got hammered which took time to drill out and reset. Julie left after a couple of hours and I went back to work on the longeron with the squeezer. As a last step for the day I put in the eight bolts that connect the engine mount to the lower longeron (four on each side.) They are not torqued to specs yet, I will do that when I get back. Julie came back later to help me slide the fuselage back against the wall so the Cherokee would fit. She took the two pictures with my phone. Just a few more rivets and we can flip the canoe. I need to stop by later and cover everything. I will get a few better photos then.

EDIT - I went back and torqued those eight bolts (see photo 3.) Just had to get it done before I left.
