My wife and I went to the hanger to get as much riveting done as possible today. I have purchased a tube of firewall fire resistant sealant. The first step was to inject the sealant between the firewall and the skins, then set the rivets. Not a difficult task, but the clean up took as much time as the actual job. I have decided to cover the front side of the firewall with a flame resistant / fireproof material, but that is a task that can wait.
