Riveting continued today, at least the marine layer came into last night and dropped the temps in the hanger back down to N. California normal. I started by completing putting all the longerons, gussets and ribs back in place. Before placing the forward bottom skin back in place it occurred to me that riveting the lower floor supports to the fire wall and the F-404 bulkhead would be easier with the lower skin removed. Using my rivet squeezer I set those rivets (see the two photos.) The inner most rivet on the F-704 bulkhead was not reachable with a rivet gun and bar without marring the bulkhead. Given the number of rivets in this area I used a 4-4 rivet instead.
