Brief Description:  Taking things apart

Continued taking the fuselage apart so I can prepare it, that is dimple, counter-sink, deburr, prep and primer. I removed the rest of the clecos and those components that were still attached to the aircraft. Things like the side panels of the luggage compartment and the associated ribs and parts of the center section. I went as far as I could without someone else there to help pull the two sections apart. I call my wife and she showed up to lend a hand. With her help I quickly separated the Center Section from the Aft Section.

Then it was on to prep work. The largest prep was counter-sinking all the rivet holes in the longeron. I went to work on the counter-sink and Julie as quality control double checking my work. I tend to undersize my counter-sinks. I guess that is better than the other side of that problem. We finished both longerons (read a LOT of counter-sinking) and dimpled one side of the aft section.

Tomorrow more dimpling and pre-priming prep. At this rate I will be ready to start riveting next weekend.
