Back in the hanger again after a four month hiatus. Right before I left for the Army's Fixed Wing course (taught by FlightSafety) I decided to change my project from a 7A to 7. I ordered all the appropriate parts as well as a new lower skin (F-772.) The parts came in while I was gone, so today I started the process of switching to a tail dragger. The first step was getting the new F-772 lower skin in place. Due to Vans great CAD/CAM design of the RV aircraft the new F-772 fit as a perfect replacement for the old F-772. Clecoed it in place and drilled all the holes to size. Nice! I will post pictures later.
