Brief Description:  Aft Section

Well, I have been waiting for my wife to agree to buck some rivets. Last night she said, "hey, lets get those rivets done tomorrow." Alright, I said to myself. So, this morning we went over to start to work. First we had some practice with some scrap aluminum. She tried bucking the rivets and then tried the rivet gun. After a bit of practice and a some discussion about what are good rivets versus bad, she said "I think I should use the rivet gun, I am not comfortable using the bucking bar." Okay, lets go!
After about 20 rivets we started talking about wrists and impact and weight of the gun. Not whinning. Just talking about it. So I suggested she try using the bucking bar. She wasn't sure but agreed anyway. After the second rivet she said "Hey this is kind of fun." Long story short, she bucks rivets better than I have ever done. And she's fast.
Full disclosure, she use to restore Jaguar 120s with her father. She knows tools and how to use them. We still finished about half the rivets. Tomorrow that aft section will be finished.
