Brief Description:  Aft section

My plan today was to rivet the bottom of the aft section. I had read on someone's log they had backriveted the bottom section by himself with good results. So, as I did not have a bucking bar buddy available I decided to give it a go. I started by placing a cleco in almost every rivet hole. I knew that I would have to roll the fuselage over to insert the rivets and back again to work the new rivets. I did not want to manufacture a twist in the airframe. I riveted seven rivets on one side and then seven on the other. Again, I was taking my time to ensure the fuselage was straight. The next ten on each side were nothing short of horrible. I ended up drilling out twenty rivets. Okay, the time I have now wasted exceeded any benefit of doing this on my own. I decided to wait until my lovely assistance (read wife) is available to man the bucking bar. Something she has already expressed a willingness to do. So, off to the center section until she is available.
