I have not been good about recording every day that I have been working on the final pieces of the tail. Since I last made an entry I have completed the trim tab and mounted the hinge to the left elevator and the trim tab. I am not impressed with one edge of the trim tab but every thing lines up correctly. I have also curled, or created a curved edge, for the front edge of each elevator. The right ele. is completed and the left is about 50% done. After finishing the front edge I will need to drill the elevator horns and check the alignment of the elevators. After that is completed I can start on the fiberglass tips. I was going to wait, but with the extended delay from Vans I might was well get started.
