Again I was away from my project due to work commitments. Today I picked up where I left off with the HS. I rechecked the bends on the two front channel spars to ensure they were 6 degrees. I found I needed to fix both channels. After double checking they had the required 6 degree bend Istarted working on the ribs and spar flanges. The front ribs require material to be removed (notched) to fit around the reinforcement angles. I finished that first (see picture 2) and then went on fluting and edging all the associated ribs. Its funny how time seems to just slip by as you work. Of course, when you are forced to take four week breaks between work sessions it takes some time get re-oriented on what has been done.
